Private, Local-First Intelligent Assistant

F.R.I.D.A.Y. (Female Replacement Intelligent Digital Assistant Youth) is an advanced personal AI coding assistant and career autopilot engineered for private, local execution on macOS.

🔒 Local-First Client Architecture

F.R.I.D.A.Y. executes locally on authorized macOS workstations. It connects externally strictly to essential functional endpoints: Google APIs for authorized services and target employer portals to submit applications.

🛡️ Encrypted macOS Keychain Security

All OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted using Apple macOS Keychain Services (AES-256 user login keychain) and owner-restricted file permissions (0600). Tokens are never saved in plaintext files or source repositories.

🎯 Precision Career Autopilot

Streamlines the software engineering and quantitative developer internship application lifecycle across official applicant tracking systems (ATS), eliminating repetitive data entry while preserving total owner oversight.

Why F.R.I.D.A.Y. Requests Gmail Read-Only Access

F.R.I.D.A.Y. requests access strictly to the restricted Google OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly.

During automated internship application submissions, employer Applicant Tracking Systems (such as Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby) frequently require email identity confirmation by issuing a short-lived one-time passcode (OTP) or magic sign-in link.

Developer & Security Controls

F.R.I.D.A.Y. is built by Alpha Software Solutions for private, single-user operation. Access can be revoked at any time through your Google Account security dashboard:

• Google Account Revocation: Manage Google Permissions
• Local macOS Purge: Deleting the Keychain item com.friday.career.gmail_oauth and local directory ~/Library/Application Support/FRIDAY/career clears stored tokens and operational history.
